This is a pretty cool bassline that doesn't just follow the guitars. Not really a whole lot to it, just watch out for the small variation on the second repeat where it goes 3-1 instead of 3-5 on the A string. Phoenix always used a Stingray for live performances of this song...that could have just been to make the transition to Given Up easier, but I don't think this one sounds like a P-Bass on the studio recording either.
