Pushing Me Away (bass) - tabbed by Astat

Tuning: Db Ab Db Gb (Blended clean DI and overdriven amp tone)

*Note* The bass on this track is an Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray 4.

Nothing too unusual here, although there are a lot of small variations throughout the song. This pretty much follows what the rhythm guitar does during the choruses, except the bass often changes notes at slightly different times than the guitar does. Also, while the rhythm guitar part is played with powerchords on the bottom 3 strings, the bass jumps up to the 3rd string for all the notes that are an Ab or higher (I think Phoenix plays more of the song on the bottom string live, but Brad tracked the bass on this as he did with a lot of Hybrid Theory). During the first half of the verses, the bass plays a more drawn-out version of the chorus progression, while the second half switches to a progression that kind of foreshadows the bridge. Not a whole lot else to say other than watching out for all of the variations on the picking pattern, as usual I've been thorough and noted them all in the tab.
