The bass on the studio version of this track is a completely different part than what Phoenix plays live. On the live version, he uses one of his Stingrays and actually plays the song in the "old school Linkin Park" Drop D, half step down tuning. He plays everything an octave lower, so he needs the open low Db string to hit the lowest notes. He also plays in a lot of spots that there isn't any bass on the studio version (he's essentially playing along with some of the low-end synth stuff rather than the actual bass track). Anyway, the studio version's in standard tuning and plays everything up an octave. It's all one progression with a few rhythmic variations, and a couple slides in the pre-chorus where the bass first enters. Like the guitar part, I've left a blank staff at the start of the bridge for timing purposes, and there's also a small mistake in the last chorus where one of the E notes is left out.
