I labeled this as the "Live in Texas" intro because that's probably where everyone knows it from, but this intro was used for all performances of By Myself in 2003 (it was added to the set for the Projekt Revolution tour in April, and stuck around through the end of the Australia/Asia tour in October). The actual extended intro is incredibly simple, but pay attention to the "regular" By Myself intro after it - by 2003, Brad had abandoned the tritone 1-0-1 chord from the album version (which he played for all Hybrid Theory-era performances) in favor of a more straightforward first fret powerchord, and he also wasn't palm muting the first fret notes anymore either.
