This song is another repurposed Linkin Park demo, having been worked on during the Living Things sessions under the title "Warm Spell." The acoustic guitar on this is interestingly in open D tuning, which Mike conveniently demonstrates by individually plucking the strings at Brad's request at the beginning of the recording (the acoustic parts were recorded on Mike's phone during a band meeting, and he liked the take so much that he kept it all the way through the song's writing process, even with the background noise of the other band members talking!). The electric part comes in during the middle portion and plays some stuff that's very reminiscent of Mike's rhythm work on Burning in the Skies.
