Interesting fact about this demo: Despite it being labeled as a 2003 demo on this CD, this song was actually used as Linkin Park's pre-recorded show outro music on the Street Soldiers Tour in early 2001! While there are only a couple bootleg recordings where it's audible after the show ends with One Step Closer, it appears to be identical to the recording found here. I'm assuming this may have been recorded around the same time the band recorded My December in late 2000, and it ended up being considered for use on Meteora later on, hence the discrepancy in the year it's attributed to. Anyway, the guitar only plays two different parts on this one, but it consists of some really cool arpeggio-based stuff that falls mostly on the offbeats. It's also quite similar to stuff Brad would later incorporate into songs like Valentine's Day, Blackbirds, and the guitar solo in What I've Done. Not a ton to note here, this song doesn't have a well-defined structure to it so I used timestamps to denote the major sections. The 7th fret note in parentheses at the very beginning of the song is just a result of the guitar part being looped, you can hear the echo of one of the 7th fret notes from the end of the second riff at the start of the loop so it kind of sticks out when the guitar first starts playing.
