Symphonies of Light Reprise - tabbed by Astat

Guitar 1 - E A D G B E (Acoustic guitar w/slapback delay and reverb)

Simple little acoustic piece here, I'd assume this was meant to be some kind of reprise to The Catalyst in an earlier incarnation of the A Thousand Suns tracklist (either as an album closer replacing The Messenger, or perhaps The Catalyst was originally earlier in the album running order). It's basically just D, Am, and C chords with some small movements on one of the higher notes in each chord (the D briefly alternates to a Dsus2, the Am to an Asus2, and the C to a Cmaj7). The strumming pattern stays consistent until the last repeat, where there are a few extra strums. The last strum at the end of the song is kind of funny, I don't know if it's Brad or Mike playing on this but whoever it is hits their pick against the body of the guitar at the end, which comes through REALLY loud thanks to the delay/reverb effects! You can also even hear the metronome ticking in the background as the song fades out, very cool rough demo stuff.
