Linkin Park once again puts a demo on an LPU CD with the wrong title...Forgotten would have still been referred to by its working title, "Rhinestone," at this point (it's also identical to the demo version of this track that's been floating around on the Internet for many years, and that version is called Rhinestone, so yeah). Anyway, the guitar tracks are arranged pretty much the same way they are on the album version, but there are a lot of subtle differences. There are more varied harmonic "fills" in the rap chorus, the second verse is slightly different, and the phrasing on the chorus and bridge are modified a bit too. The clean outro also goes on for longer, and there are no 0-3-3 chords in the bridge like there are on the album version. A couple things to watch out for, in the third rap chorus, there's an open G string note in parentheses that is somewhat audible on the recording, but it sounds like the 5th fret harmonic on the B string was the intent there, so I've marked it as an "accidental" note. For the following fill in the same rap chorus, Brad plays a palm-muted low Eb followed by 3 harmonics across the third fret...except he misses the last one and ends up just playing an open Bb string instead! Watch out for the small break in the second verse, and the unusual Ab major chord that the song ends on (it's in a minor key, Brad...), and this one will be a piece of cake.
