Use the bridge pickup unless otherwise noted. This song's pretty basic, in essence it's your classic 4-chord rock song, with a couple little twists. Guitar 1 provides the clean harmonics during the verses. During the choruses, Guitars 2 and 3 play these same harmonics with distortion, however this part isn't played live at all, Joe does that part as a sample instead. Guitars 4 through 7 are typical quadruple-tracked Hybrid Theory rhythm guitars, and they do all the powerchords. The only time Guitars 4 through 7 ever play anything different from each other is at the very end of the bridge, where 3 of the 4 tracks handle the transition into the last chorus slightly differently (Guitars 6 and 7 play the same thing). One little note on how this song is played live, since the first harmonic of Guitar 2/3's part is played before the first chord by the rhythm guitars, Brad hits that harmonic going into the chorus live, but otherwise doesn't play Guitar 2/3 at all. For the overlapping parts at the end of the first 2 choruses, Brad jumps to the first 5th fret harmonic (Guitar 1) as opposed to playing the 9th fret chord when playing the song live. I had to do an approximation on the ending, Guitars 2 and 3 both let all 3 harmonics on the top 3 strings from the end of the last chorus sustain through the outro, but they momentarily die out about halfway through the piano line. Then Guitar 3 (on the right side) fades back in with some really low-end feedback that sounds like the open fifth string (it's a really sub-harmonic-emphasized feedback, kind of like what you might hear if you plug an acoustic guitar into a PA system and start getting feedback from the sound hole). A couple seconds later, Guitar 2 fades back in with feedback of its own, which is equivalent to the 5th fret harmonic on the third string. Live, Brad usually switches back to a semi-clean sound (with a compressor and a long delay effect to create the illusion of more sustain) at the end, turns the volume all the way down, and plays all three harmonics from the end of the chorus before turning the volume back up to "manually" create the feedback.
