This long sought-after Xero recording surfaced in early 2020, prior to its official release on the Hybrid Theory 20th anniversary box set - it's an alternate version of Rhinestone that was featured in an episode of The Crow: Stairway to Heaven. As it turns out, this same recording was also included on an extremely hard-to-find Zomba "New Music Sampler" promo CD from 1998. Interestingly, while the vocals are previously unheard, the bulk of the instrumental track (save for one of Joe's scratch samples) is identical to the demo version of Forgotten that appeared on the 9-track Warner Bros. demo CD in early 2000, which was officially released on the LPU 12 CD many years later. So tab-wise, this is nothing new. Still an interesting piece of the band's history though!
