Use the bridge pickup unless otherwise noted. The guitar part on this one is just 3 chords, but the way it's played kind of has me scratching my head. The chords are an inverted Bb5, a Db5, and an E5. The low Db5 seems to indicate that it's a drop-tuned song, but the inverted Bb5 has to be played as 4-2-4 from low to high in this tuning, and if that's the case, it would be one of only two times I'm aware of Mike playing this chord shape...and the other was on The Emptiness Machine, 20 years later! Brad's normally the one who uses inverted chord voicings in drop tunings, and it was especially common during the Meteora timeframe this track originates from. My initial thought was that Mike might have played this on a 7-string, but that actually just makes it harder to play, so I'm sticking with the drop-tuned 6 string and saying that Mike used a chord shape in this song that he normally doesn't use. The 2 guitars double each other throughout the song and have a very fuzzy-sounding distortion on them. Like all 5 of the VMA score songs that were released in 2005, the original version was shortened and the full-length instrumental wasn't released until early 2010. The long version of this one differs in that it has a "verse" and additional repeat of the chorus that aren't present in the short version.
