Pretty straightforward layering on this track, Guitars 1 and 2 play for the whole song, and Guitars 3 and 4 are present most of the time as well, but they drop out during most of the verses to provide more dynamic contrast (they also don't play the initial four muted strums at the very start of the song). There are a couple "trouble spots" in this song that have rarely (if ever) been tabbed correctly in the past. The first is the last chord before the first 2 choruses, which functions in the song as a weird Ab6 variation, but in theory is more like a first inversion F minor chord with no 5th in it. It looks and sounds incredibly odd, but that's really how it's played. The second offending spot in this song is the chorus. A lot of tabs have the inverted B5 chord tabbed as a regular B5 at the 10th fret (some tabs even have this song in Drop B and have that as an open chord, LOL!), but you can clearly see it played the way I have it here on many live videos, as well as the Making of Meteora DVD, which shows Brad recording guitar tracks for this song in the studio. Other than that, previous tabbing errors were mostly just issues with the strumming pattern. A note on the chorus, the muted strum before the octave part is executed while sliding up to fret the first octave. There are slides between the octaves audible in this part as well, but since each octave is strummed on its own, I chose not to notate them, they're "implied" slides (when you play the riff you're going to be sliding anyway). That's about it, fun song with a couple awesome riffs in it.
