This is an incredibly short song with a guitar part that only lasts about 30 seconds. It plays on the offbeats, alternating with the distorted bass stabs that fall on the downbeats. There's a fast volume swelling effect on this part as well, you don't really hear it "fading in," it happens quick enough that it just masks the sound of the pick attack. The reverb covers it up enough that there isn't really any feeling of space between the notes, even though they're probably played pretty staccato if you were to take the reverb away.
