Hey everyone! Going to try to post monthly update summaries on here going forward. I'm also going to start using the "Read More" function, since I'll be posting these updates more frequently, so click to read on... GENERAL TAB UPDATES: All guitar and bass tabs from the following sections have received "quality of life" updates regarding spacing, muting notation, and other miscellaneous tweaks: Xero Demo, Hybrid Theory EP, Hybrid Theory, Reanimation, Meteora, Collision Course, 2005 MTV VMAs Score, We Major.
SPECIFIC TAB UPDATES: The following tabs have received edits, with what I deem "significant" changes noted. One Step Closer (Bass) Runaway (Bass) In the End (Bass) - There are actually two different bass tunings used on this one! PLC.4 MIE HÆD (Guitar) - Slight changes to muted strums in bridge X-Ecutioner Style (Guitar) PPR:KUT (Guitar) - Changes to bridge/outro chords Madison (Guitar) - Changes to bent octaves in bridge Madison (Bass) - Changes to fills in last chorus Cover and Duck (Guitar) - Changes to octaves in chorus NEW TABS: Faint (Bass) Madison (Short Version) (Bass) Remember the Name (Funkadelic Remix) (Guitar) MISC. UPDATES: I've done some test recordings with my new setup, just to get tones dialed in. I'm using AmpliTube 5 MAX with Ableton Live now, with bits of my pedal collection sprinkled in here and there. New computer, new interface, and a bunch of new plugins too. Everything's sounding great, I just want to get a decent library of sounds built first so I can record without having to worry about dialing things in all over again every time I want to do a new song. Separately, I'm working on a deep dive video regarding some production techniques on older Linkin Park live recordings, as I've discovered some pretty interesting stuff that led me down quite the rabbit hole. Also, I know I mentioned this in my last post, but be sure to check out the new TAB READING GUIDE if you haven't already spotted it under the "Tabs" dropdown menu! I made this a couple months back to cover all the intricacies of my particular method of transcribing songs, since it's significantly more thorough than a lot of other text-based tabbing systems. If you're ever scratching your head over how you're supposed to interpret something in one of my tabs, the info you're looking for can probably be found in this guide.
