Happy new year everyone! A lot has happened around here over the last month, more after the jump... First of all, the usual, tab updates.
GENERAL TAB UPDATES: No spacing/muting/"quality of life" updates this month, but I'll be doing some more shortly. SPECIFIC TAB UPDATES: My December (Guitar) - Newly re-added to the site, this was one of the ones that didn't initially get transferred over from the old version of the website. High Voltage (Remix) (Guitar) - Newly re-added just like My December, and updated significantly with my recent discovery that the studio version of this one's actually on a 7-string! Easier to Run (Guitar) - Fixed a typo in the second verse + changed the feedback fade-ins slightly. The Emptiness Machine (Guitar) - New tab! The entire From Zero section has been added to the site, and I'll be posting more tabs from the album soon. And, in bigger news... I'M POSTING YOUTUBE VIDEOS AGAIN! I posted a series of videos for 12 days leading up to Christmas that I called "Our December." I'm hoping to make this an annual project, in addition to maintaining a weekly upload schedule. You can find the full "Our December" playlist HERE, with a list of included videos below: Day 1: One Step Closer (Guitar 1) Day 2: Pushing Me Away (Guitar 2) Day 3: And One (Both guitars) Day 4: Part of Me (Both guitars) Day 5: My December Day 6: High Voltage (Remix) Day 7: Easier to Run (Both guitars) Day 8: Figure.09 Day 9: Wake (Both guitars) Day 10: Leave Out All the Rest (Both guitars) Day 11: Valentine's Day (Guitar 3) Day 12: The Emptiness Machine (Both guitars) I'm also resuming a weekly upload schedule every Tuesday, last week's video was Bleed It Out (Guitar 1, Guitar 2, Guitar 3). Tune in every week for more covers, I'm currently working on wrapping up Minutes to Midnight, as the Our December project completely finished my playlists for Hybrid Theory EP, Hybrid Theory, and Meteora! ADDITIONAL PROJECTS IN THE WORKS: As I mentioned in my announcement video for Our December, I'll be launching a Patreon in the near future where I do song-by-song breakdowns of my AmpliTube 5 presets and give general tips on playing/tone. I want to have a library of at least a few videos ready to go before I officially launch my Patreon, so be on the lookout for that soon! I'm also working on a new longform video series that I'm calling The Linkin Navigator. The guys at Linkinpedia always joke that their website is just a repository of all the LP-related knowledge I've crammed into my brain over the past 24 years, so I figured I could make it into a video series. There won't be a specific theme to this series, but you can expect breakdowns of both studio and live recordings, music theory/song arrangement analysis, stage and studio gear, band-related history, and other general trivia. Lastly, since I'm using AmpliTube 5 and sharing my presets with my new covers, I'm going to be posting a general AmpliTube tips and tricks video in the near future as well (this will be on my main YouTube channel, not my Patreon). It's been a big month, and I'm planning to make 2026 a whole year of big months!
